People who work with farm plants
If you had a sick pet, you would take it to an animal doctor called a
veterinarian. And if you were a farmer with sick plants or poor soil,
you would get help from a plant doctor called an agronomist.
Agronomists are scientists who find ways of making soil grow more
things, and of making plants larger and healthier. The work they do
helps farmers raise more food to feed people around the world.
