Biologists and Archaeologists
Marine biologists study all the different kinds of animals and plants in
the sea. They learn how each kind of creature gets its food, defends
itself, and so on. Some marine biologists examine sea animals to be sure
the animals are healthy and to find out how to keep them healthy.
An archaeologist is a scientist who searches for, and studies, things
made and used by people long ago. Many such things can be found on old
sunken ships. Some archaeologists, known as marine archaeologists, spend
a great deal of time at sea, searching through the wrecks of ancient
ships.
