Some coastlines are beaches where sand and water meet. But some
coastlines have no beaches. Instead, water crashes against the side of a
mountain, or water slaps against the side of a glacier. Some parts of
coastlines are places where pirates plundered ships, or where noisy sea
lions bark, or where tons of whalemeat are hauled ashore.
