THE MAGIC KINGDOM
How would you like to visit a fairy-tale castle? It’s right out of the
pages of the story, “Cinderella.” This castle is in Walt Disney World in
Florida—a place where the land of make- believe comes true.
Do you remember “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”? In the Magic
Kingdom you might get a chance to shake hands with your favorite
dwarf—be it Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, or Sneezy. And
of course you’ll see Mickey and Minnie Mouse and all your other favorite
Disney characters.
On Main Street, U.S.A., you can climb aboard a fire engine that goes
clanging away. You can ride in the open, upper deck of a double-deck
bus. There’s even a trolley pulled by a horse. And that’s just the start
of your traveling fun!
What’s it like to fly to the moon? Find out in Tomorrowland. In
Frontierland you can ride an Indian canoe or a riverboat. How about
crossing over to Tom Sawyer s Island on a raft? Or, perhaps you’d like
to cruise down a jungle river as lifelike animals move and roar in
Adventureland.
What’s all the screaming about? It’s the Mad Tea Party, where giant
cups and saucers spin you until you’re dizzy. That puffing steam comes
from a train that takes you for a trip around the Magic Kingdom. And
the happy carnival music that fills the air comes from Cinderella’s
Golden Carrousel, where you have a choice of ninety galloping horses to
ride.
There’s still another Magic Kingdom in California. It’s called
Disneyland. This Magic Kingdom has many of the same rides and
attractions as Walt Disney World in Florida.
Cinderella’s castle rises high above the Magic Kingdom that is Walt
Disney World.
Which one of Walt Disney’s Seven Dwarfs wonld you like to meet in
