Who Are We?

Who Are We?

Who Are We?

We’re all the people in the world.

We live in cities or villages, in deserts, on mountains, and on islands
in the seas. Wherever we are, we make homes to live in and find work to
do.

We come in many colors. Some of us have warm, tan skins and some of us
have deep brown skins. Some of us have pink skins or skins that are
touched with copper or gold. All of our many colors are beautiful.

Our eyes may be blue, brown, gray, or green. Our hair may be blond,
brown, red, or black. Each of us looks special in some ways.

We have many different ways of life. But we’re very much alike, too. We
must all have food and water. We all want to be comfortable and happy.
We all need love and friendship. We all have feelings. We all like
beautiful things.

We belong to many different families, groups, tribes, and nations. But
each one of us is also a member of one big family—the human family.

We’re us—the people of the planet Earth.
