People are special
People are very special. They do lots of very special things.
They make many different kinds of foods to eat, clothes to wear, and
places to live in.
They make all kinds of tools to use in their work.
They make things that have many parts in them—cars, television sets,
spaceships, computers.
They play all kinds of indoor and outdoor games.
They make all kinds of toys—from cuddly teddy bears to high-flying
kites.
They make statues, paintings, gardens, and buildings that are beautiful
to look at.
They write wonderful stories, poems, and songs to read and to listen to.
They can imagine things they have never seen and places they have never
been.
They can ask questions.
And they can wonder.
