Families everywhere
I know that my family does some things differently from the ways other
families in the world do the same things. But I also know that
families—no matter where they live—do some things in the same way.
This is especially true of the children in the family.
Children learn to do many things from their fathers. (Ivory Coast)
Older children look after younger children in the family. (Turkey)
Children like to spend time with their grandmothers. (Czech Republic)
They visit their uncles, aunts, and cousins. (Germany)
Sometimes, they listen to the radio with the whole family. (Niger)
They take walks with their parents. (Japan)
In families everywhere, people take care of each other and share happy
times together.
