Sea animals
The sea is filled with many kinds of animals. Fish, crabs, oysters,
snails, and most other sea animals stay under water all the time. But
whales, dolphins, sea turtles, sea snakes, and others breathe air. They
must put their heads above water to breathe.
Many sea animals don’t look like the kind of animal they really are. The
eel looks like a snake, but it’s a fish. Dolphins and whales look like
fish, but they’re not. They are mammals, like seals and walruses. And
sponges, sea anemones, and corals don’t even look like animals. They
look like plants.
