Meat and much more
Someone once said that people can use every part of a hog but its
squeal. That’s nearly true. From hogs we get ham, bacon, pork chops,
roast pork, sausages, spare ribs
These hogs won a prize in a contest.
One reason they won was that they have lots of meat and not much fat.
—even pickled pig’s feet. The skin of hogs is made into gloves, shoes,
and belts. Hog fat is made into lard, soap, and shaving cream. Hog hair
is used in brushes, and ground hog bones are made into glue.
Prize Hogs
