Hook, Weave, Knot, and Braid

Hook, Weave, Knot, and Braid

It’s raining, it’s pouring, and Bob and Sue are weaving yarn bags!

Janie’s going on a long trip. On the way, she’s making an octopus to
keep her company.

Bill’s not playing ball. He’s weaving a tapestry for his mom’s birthday.

Bob, Sue, Janie, and Bill know that hook, weave, knot, and braid
projects are good anytime, anyplace, stop-and-start projects.

Most hook, weave, knot, and braid projects are simple to make, but they
do take time. Some take several days or weeks to complete. But when
they’re finished, these projects are pretty to look at, fun to play
with, and will last much longer than it took to make them.

You can make hundreds of things by hooking, weaving, knotting, and
braiding. The projects in this section are only a beginning. When you’ve
made them, you’ll want to create hook, weave, knot, and braid projects
of your own.
