Beauty is how we think of it

Beauty is how we think of it

Every culture has its own kind of art. A temple carving in Taiwan is
different from a carving on a temple in India. A Japanese painting is
different from a French painting. And a Danish statue doesn’t look at
all like an African statue. All of these have beauty, but not for
everybody.

Usually, we like one work of art better than another because it looks
like what we think is beautiful. But we can enjoy works of art from any
culture. What we need to know is that people have different ideas of
what is beautiful.
