Cotton comes from the cotton plant. The seeds are covered with fine fuzz
that we twist into thread and weave into cloth.
Is there a linen tablecloth on the table? Linen is made from the flax
plant.

white fuzz, are harvested.
Stalks of flax plants are dried, scraped, and combed into long strips
to be spun into thread.
