If you see fireworks bursting in the sky, you might say, “Oh!” And if
you see a litter of puppies, you might say, “Ah!”
Other times you might feel like saying “Oh” or “Ah” are when you see
certain places in the world—the river with enough water to cover a
country, the building so high that you can make shadow pictures on the
clouds it pokes through, the volcano that grew up in a farmer’s field,
and the ocean of sand that once may have been an ocean of water.
