
Paper-plate mask
Materials

- Fold a paper plate in half. Draw a line on the plate, as shown. Cut
along this line. Save both parts of the plate.

Unfold the large part of the plate. Hold it against your face, with
the bottom of the plate away from you. Use a crayon to make a light
mark where the eye holes should go. Take the plate away from your
face and cut out the eye holes (see inside cuts, page 37). -
Use the small part of the plate for the nosepiece. Fold the
nosepiece in half. Then fold the ends forward. -
Open the nosepiece a little. Glue the folded ends on each side of
the nose opening. -
Attach string to hold the mask on Punch a hole on each side edge of
the mask. Cut a piece of string long enough to go around your head.
Tie the ends of the string to the holes.
Use crayons, felt-tip pens, or magic markers to decorate your mask.
