Tyrannosaurus the meat-eater
One of the most fierce-looking dinosaurs was Tyrannosaurus. Scientists
can tell from its sharp teeth that it was a meat-eater. But they’re not
sure how it got its food.
Some scientists think Tyrannosaurus was a fierce hunter. They think it
chased other dinosaurs, attacked them, and killed them for food!
But other scientists think Tyrannosaurus must have been too big and
heavy to run fast. They think it just waddled around, looking for the
bodies of dead dinosaurs, and ate them.
